You Assumed

You Assumed seeks to ask entrepreneurs over assuming their whys - why not.

Your past can offer fuel to ignite you or burn you, Your Choice is the difference

If you think of some of your favorite success stories or failure stories you can remember “times of hardship.” Circumstances - Situations which at moment you are in them, might seem out of control for the person living them, and the younger they are, the harder it is to understand “did this happen to me or for me”. The biggest difference between a success story or a failure story is “attitude.”

Now I assure attitude is not everything, but it is the greatest thing to separate the path to go one way or another. Attitude can help you, but applying your attitude in the moments as life throws you curveballs and constantly working your ability to hit curveballs can make you an all-star or a person sitting watching the all-star from the stands.

Life is not any tougher than life is amazing. It is our attitude that makes this difference, and some of us find the best way to have an amazing life is to make sure others can find amazing moments in life. This is exactly what today’s guest Amanda Kieper does in her career as a professor, counselor, and leadership pursuits while teaching & inspiring others at Rock Valley College.

Amanda offers insights, gained from experience and shared with vulnerability because she truly cares to help not just inspire others, but teach by doing that any individual can make a difference or an impact if they just choose to do so. Your past does not need to be an anchor when it can be the foundation that you build your life. Attitude is the difference-maker.

I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it, and learning from Amanda as she shares passion projects she is working on, and removing life barriers for kids & people that would have never even known a thing to ask for let alone talk to someone about, like “being able to eat & or pay for a class.” Life has real struggles and challenges. Amanda shares insights on how “we as a community to an individual can take action to make an impact.”
